Check out Mountain West Reef Fest! The largest marine aquarium event in the Mountain West! Since starting in 2009 this event has really taken off, more than doubling in size and pulling in top tier speakers like Scott Micheal!
The Wasatch Marine Aquarium Society (WMAS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of the hobby of marine aquarium keeping. We believe in conservation of coral reefs by promoting captive breeding and propagation of marine creatures and developing natural marine environments for our specimens. We promote responsibility and education of marine hobbyists. Monthly meetings are held in Salt Lake City featuring guest speakers, events, raffles, and fun. There is also a periodic newsletter called the Sea Star with informative articles about the marine aquarium hobby.
